We don't need to agree on everything. We don't even need to agree on most
things.
Incidentally, I do disagree, to an extent. I agree that adding packages
directly to Trisquel can be useful, but I disagree that we should encourage
people to do this in general, at least as a primary thing. Trisquel is not a
very popular OS, and doesn't have a very large number of developers. There
also isn't a significant number of distros downstream from Trisquel. So if a
package is unavailable in Debian, and would be useful to Debian users and
users of other Debian-derived distros, I think it would be a bit selfish and
possibly a burden to Trisquel's small number of developers to only make the
package for Trisquel and not push it upstream.
Actually, this kind of thing is one of my primary criticisms of Mint.
