[Trisquel-users] Installing operating system without bios

I've had problems with my laptop; being unable to boot into bios. It looks to  
be an acer problem (I've done everything to flash the cmos chip, taken the  
button cell out, taken all the hardware out and booted with with the laptop  
battery out with ac power supply only, and with battery etc etc...)

Is it possible to install any operating system be it a fresh copy of Trisquel  
or otherwise, without access to bios? I can't boot from a cd, or usb - and  
presumably won't be able to do a net install (though I've never done this  
before so I don't know what it entails).
