This also begs the question, 'What, if anything, do people do about the
software in their cars?'. In my case I know my car has bluetooth and a
rather elaborate set of digital gimmicks. There is no independent wifi
capability...as far as I know. So if I keep the bluetooth off, I'd like to
believe I'm relatively OK.
Is it too much to wish for cars with free software if we still don't have
cell phones with free software? Maybe we can work on both.
