I got curious about the OpenPandora too. I asked some one from the FSF to
help me out about its free related issues. What we ended up with is that we
realized that the OpenPandora project and its community, are not very
interested on its freedom issues.
I can't rememberer well, but the device had some components that couldn't run
with free software like its video and wifi drivers.
The objective of the OpenPandora never were freedom really.
After what we found I just stopped being interested on it. I prefer what the
guys are doing with replicant :)
