The prompt one gets with Alt+F2 does not aim to "search" applications, but
only to "execute" known commands. In GNOME Shell's dash, for instance, I can
find "Abrowser" by typing "Web". In fact, typing "w" is enough to get
"Abrowser" preselected for execution.
