Either the video is a WebM and you download it in this format or it is not
and you need to transcode it, a lengthy process that will inevitably lead to
a loss a quality (you cannot gain quality). Transmageddon (in Trisquel's
repository) is easy to use and can transcode to WebM (among other formats).
Just choose "HTML5 WebM" as a presetting.
