It should be packaged for Debian GNU/Linux and enter that distribution. In  
sequence, Ubuntu and finally Trisquel will have it. If the process starts  
now, you can hope that Silex will be in Trisquel 9, two years from now.

In the time, you can follow the instructions on  
https://github.com/silexlabs/Silex to locally install Silex.
