I want to point out that moderation of comments is not an attack on freedom
of speech. What they allow on their websites is their own business. You can
voice your opinions through other means, no matter how vile and sickening
they might be. However, just remember: just because you have the right to say
something does not mean you should say it!
Also, they are removing hate speech. This generally means vile comments,
whether they are about women, minorities, immigrants and refugees. I'm sure
you get the idea, in fact, from the tone of your post I get a rather chilling
impression that you think it is fine to say such things. Remember "political
correctness" never hurt anyone. People like Donald Trump, Marine Le Pen, the
Pegida thugs, the fascists in Greece, most certainly have said things and
done things that have caused and exploited divisions, stigma, and violence.
The tone of this post is disturbing. You are deliberately conflating the
issues of the freedom to say something and the power of the governors of
public spaces to make them safe places to inhabit.
