It does. Your would then need an older nVidia card, like Dogers'. Or you can  
wait for a (hopefully) better support in the latest version of the  
Linux-libre kernel. With the "linux‑libre64" package in jxself's  
Linux-libre's repository, your kernel will always be the latest stable kernel  
(currently version 4.6).
