Certainly you should go to a local business to support your community.
But I don't think that Stallman's word is law. It's not a cult after all and
"Stallman approved" is not necessarily much better. I have no qualms about
using PayPal once in a while (although I dislike Amazon as they mistreat
their employees) etc. Use what is best for you and how you feel comfortable.
Support cooperatives and ethical business if you want to. But if you find
that difficult (too expensive?) then it's your choice.
