I assume the OP knows where is the bookmarks.json located on his USB stick  
and is asking where should that file be moved on his hard drive, lembas.
But it may also be the senility, I'm 83 years old after all.
I guess the file should be placed in  
/home/.mozilla/firefox/crfdsfs.default(or whatever)/boomarkbackups
