I don't know what it is for exactly, it isn't for me. I suppose it's something about scheduling, but I might be completely wrong.
I'll try to get the latest version.If it fails, I'd rather install a Qemu/KVMed Windows just for that, with all the sandboxing I can find. Another computer takes the focus away from using Trisquel, so I think it's the best of both of the bad solutions.
