Actually, I don't know if it's worthwhile to go out of your way to support Minifree anymore. The person behind Minifree and Libreboot seems to be going out of her way to distance herself from the FSF and anything connected to it, and in doing so has decided to stop persuing RYF certification and start shipping all of the laptops Minifree sells with Debian. The hardware is still perfectly fine at the moment, though.

That just seems to be because of a delay in RYF evaluation, the same reason Minifree's laptops are still shown there even though they don't qualify for RYF certification anymore.
