I agree with your analysis, Telinome. I just want to add, that when I had my  
X200 liberated just when those things happened and Libreboot and Minifree  
abandoned (!) GNU and FSF, Minifree was most reluctant to even help with  
information about Trisquel installation. That might have changed, but if you  
consider Minifree and you are sure you want Trisquel, and unsure if you can  
installed it your self after liberation, please double check the possibility  
to have it installed.
