I hope we will, at some point. But sure, the current trend is, on the
contrary, to always increase the copyright term. In a completely absurd way:
it makes no sense to argue that, tens of years after the death of the
authors, forbidding the reuse of their works encourages the production of new
works (copyright's supposed goal)!
But you must also recognized that we are even further from having a law that
would force every artistic work to be under a free license!
