The current redirection is a bug, hence the temporary fix specifying the  
port. The intervening page was created among other reasons to allow  
translations and other stuff to be worked on as a part of the Drupal section  
of the website.

By all means there's a lot of room for improvement, I give you that :) I'll  
have a look at that section, although the truth is that we have more pressing  
matters pending.
