[Trisquel-users] Problems with playing DVD

I often encounter problems when trying to play a DVD on my Trisquel (and  
earlier other distributions) computers. Everywhere I read, that this or that  
player will play virtually everything. So how come I still have problems?

Is there something I can do, or do I just have to realise, that 'virtually  
everything' means many but far from all?
