Hi to everyone on the forums. I'm a new member here. I'm not especially
technical but I am certainly interested in Free Software (and Free Culture)
and I find the discussions on the Trisquel forums very interesting.
I was curious to get some thoughts on whether software such as youtube-dl or
ViewTube violated the YouTube terms of service (or whether these terms of
service even matter in a meaningful way).
Specifically I notice this term:
"You agree not to access Content through any technology or means other than
the video playback pages of the Service itself, the Embeddable Player, or
other explicitly authorized means YouTube may designate."
