I would still like it darker. Perhaps some where near the Serena theme which  
loldier posts (to the right).

next is, I would like icons to match. Is there an easy way to change colours  
of icons?

Thanks to Magic Banana for the easy "Colors/Desaturate..." trick

(BTW, Trisquel background pictures are saved in /usr/shared/backgrounds/)
