Some distributions would otherwise be free/libre but they make the mistake of

I am curious: what GNU/Linux distribution besides Debian?
Fedora is not among them: it comes with a kernel that includes proprietary  
software.

packaged free substitutes though, in the same way that  
https://jxself.org/linux-libre/ proposes packaged free substitutes for for  
the kernels of Debian-based distributions.
