Do you specifically know of proprietary software (firmware I guess) that Kaby  
Lake's graphics need?  I mean, Torvald's kernel (including proprietary  
software) supports Kaby Lake's graphics.  That support started at the end of  
2015 (Trisquel 7's default kernel is too old):
