As far as I know, Piwik is free/libre software that you install in your own website (in this case I *think* that FSF installed in their website), and which allows them to check things like "how many visits that page had?".
This is different than the privacy invasive Google AdWords/AdSense/Analytics triplet, because Piwik is made so that you install it on your own site, rather than relying on a single provider (Google).
