But honestly, I prefer the x200 as the T400/T500 screen hinges are much more fragile for outdoor use in my opinion. If you have a x250, it will be roughly the same feeling, easier to flash as well. You can also get a quite good battery autonomy with a fine tuned setup (using powertop for example) & a 9-cell battery. On mine, I have approx. 5 hours with wifi & full luminosity, which is quite good considering the old CPU ! You can buy it for dirt cheap as well.. parts are also available everywhere for cheap.
I prefer the T500 (higher screen resolution on the one I picked up in a
thrift shop), they're the same though (hardware)
