I am using the 8 downloaded from the jenkis repo since a while. I didn't have  
any problem so far. I daily receive new updates. I am running it in a pretty  
modern hardware, a quad core i7 Haswell laptop and it is very fast and  
stable. Everything works even the sleep and so on. I truly don't understand  
why people complain constantly.
@t3g just download it and install it :)
