Ubuntu 14.04 packages will work for trisquel 7... not sure otherwise...
Although, be warned... virtualbox 4.2 and above use non-free software. just warning you, they are contrib... meaning they are libre initially till they grab the non-free dependencies... pity no one is trying to fork virtualbox and make it libre...
