I have only ever used Mini. It really just boils down to preference, but I  
spend most of my time in command-line, so I don't have much need for GUI.  
Back before Trisquel I would just do a net install with X and used TWM when I  
wanted a GUI. I've grown a bit more attached to X since Mini came out and  
appreciate some of the niceties of LXDE. I am very slow to upgrade and I  
appreciate that Mini works exactly the same on my new X200 and on my old x20.
