Hah, certainly not! My directness and honesty is often met with confusion

Totally unrelated to this forum but:
I was at the airport the other day, and couldn't bring a water bottle through  
the security check, so I went to spill it out in the sink at the wc. There  
was a man there and I asked him if he would like to have the water since it  
would be spilled if not. He was looking at me with disgust like I was asking  
him something extraordinary bizarre :p
