It is exactly the same thing. You are given something without insight into

No. It is a finished product. Just like a TV or a bottle of wine. You don't
know the recipe for it and you cannot put it in your own bottle and sell it.
Still - you agree to drink that wine and watch that TV. So you are consuming
a proprietary product - same with software. Same with the chips running
inside your computer.

In any case - you didn't even look at the essence of the questions which is
the whole point. Giving superficial answers and arguing is easy, we can do
this forever. But looking beyond is something much different.
