[Trisquel-users] Don't want to use system Vim, want to use my own

I've compiled Vim from source.

I'd like to use the freshly-compiled Vim instead of the version of Vim that's  
provided by the Trisquel "vim" package...

I'm using Trisquel 7.0

How can I go about using the Vim that has been compiled?
