> Hi guys do you suggest me to upgrade the Trisquel version(7) in my card ?
Trisquel 7 is supported for another 8 months, so you don't need to upgrade now if you're happy with T7 but will eventually have to get around to it. > And how ? thank you. First make sure that the packages 'trisquel' and 'trisquel-recommended' are installed. Several users have tried upgrading without 'trisquel' installed and ended up with a broken desktop environment. See here[1] if you're interested to understand why. I'd include 'trisquel-recommended' as well to be safe. The terminal command to upgrade to Trisquel 8 is 'sudo do-release-upgrade'. If you'd prefer to do it graphically you may need to modify your Software & Updates settings so that T8 is detected when you check for updates. This page[2] explains how.
