It's up to you. Both have "issues"I like the fact IntelME is fully removed on T400, x200 etc.. but I regret not having microcode update from Intel for this era CPUs.. (I'm not even mentioning huge stability issue without running latest avaiable microcode (2010)..)
T420s IntelME can almost be nuked with me_cleaner and there are microcode update available from Intel (although we don't know what those are introducing..)
