I had difficulties booting the netinstall iso on my librebooted X200. This is
how it worked for me:
1. Put the netinstall iso on a USB drive instead of burning a CD
2. In the built-in grub choose the option that says "external" instead of
"USB"
When choosing the option that says "USB" I just kept coming back to the main
built-in grub menu, but when choosing the option that says "external" I got
the normal netinstall options:
Install
Command-line install
etc.
Personally I recommend going with "install" instead of "command-line
install". Because during the "command-line install" there was no select
screen for the desktop environment. Otherwise both those options seem to work
out identically, there was no GUI loaded or anything like that.
I encountered some issues when installing from the netinstall iso. It may be
necessary to install multiple times until the system will actually boot (or
maybe not). Grub has to be installed into the MBR, don't skip that.
Basically, installation process works exactly the same as it always does.
