I have not solved the problem. I have UFW set to default and have not listed  
any rules, as I'm not sure how to do so yet. My vpn has a tutorial to set up  
Wireguard using terminal and I hope to connect using that format. Mullvad  
offers a GUI for linux that I may try if I cannot manually set Wireguard.  
However, I'm not sure that the current kernel version in Trisquel is  
supported by Mullvad...

If anyone is using Mullvad and can verify that it works with this kernel  
version, please let me know.
