What "advanced features"? I use GNOME Terminal. It does not have anything
particularly fancy, but it has all I want: tabs (and keyboard shortcuts to
open/close/navigate), configurable colors, a possibly large history, keyboard
shortcuts that conflict with Bash's (basically Emacs) can be disabled.
