[Trisquel-users] Mate panel windows

Does anyone know how to make the Mate desktop panel stay the original size,  
but instead of stacking different windows on top of each other have each  
different window side-by-side?

E.g if I have abrowser and control panel open at the same time one will be on  
top of the other and only the third opened window will go to the side, I  
wanted it to go to the side starting from the second open window.

A solution I've found was to make the panel shorter (y axis) and it would  
force the new windows to the side, however I want to keep the original  
thickness of the panel.
