No i upgraded from trisquel 8 following the instructions given by MD

i wanna know if i can use the trisquel 9 without runing into some privacy and
security issues,
cause for me all i need is already there!
or how can i upgrade some packages from etiona repository and stay in
trisquel 8 without making it crash?
im new to linux but im someone who likes getting in to the bottem of things,
so after joining the linux comunity in a few months i followed the rabit hole
to end up in trisquel :)
and now i will try my best to learn more on how to play arround with it
