My worry is also the time span between Debian and Trisquel. Is there always such a timespan between Debian and Trisquel? And if so, how could I help Trisquel to possibly reduce that timespan.
And you can install gPHPEdit without knowing that this package has no future. You can install it through the home menu install new software. Search term: php gives 4 programs (term: sql gives 13 programs) gPHPEdit also is still in sid. https://packages.debian.org/stretch/gphpedit It was removed from Debian in july 2017. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=879158 This fork from november 2013 seems the latest worked on. https://github.com/anishsheela/gphpedit/tree/master It is in Debian because there are other packages in testing that depends on it?
