It should be possible to add an item to about:preferences which provides a  
more beginner-friendly way to modify `identity.sync.tokenserver.uri`.   
However, translating the new menu item into every supported language would be  
non-trivial for us.  Perhaps it would be worth a try for you to propose this  
feature to Mozilla.
