Hi, I don't quite understand how I'm supposed to edit exactly. The file  
contains this line:

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""


What I should put is:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi=off"

Please could you confirm me. Thanks
