Hi Trnsys users,

I am trying to import a Window 5 model into TRNSYS but I am a bit struggling
because Ntypes 50 and 51 does not give me the same results as Window 5.2.17.a .

As far as I know, Window 5 calculates a global U-value and SHGC regarding to
specific environmental conditions (for instance I chose CEN conditions) that I
have reproduced in TRNSYS (2 different simulations, one for Uwin, another for
g-win).
I imported the DOE2 report as explained in the well known tutorial (
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/downloads/tutorials_and_examples/window41/window41.htm)
and I also paid attention to using the right coefficients for frame and so
on...
I came to the results that Trnsys Uwin is quite the same as Window 5 U-value
but the g-value given by TRNSYS is far too small compared to Window 5 's one
(SHCG of center of glass).

Has anybody ever done this kind of test ? Can somebody explain the difference
I've got in my results ?

If someone's interested in this subject I can easily send a simple model.

Thanks !
