Are you sure your port number is really 110? 110 is typically used for unsecured POP3. IMAP by default runs over port 143 (the "TCP" connection method, as the settings dialog calls it) and 993 (the "SSL" thing). Trojitá doesn't talk POP3, you have to use IMAP.
