In the IMAP settings, be sure to pick either "TCP" or "SSL" as the connection "method". The setings you're using is only for using a locally-launched process like SSH. I wonder how you configured Trojita, though -- the settings dialog won't let you enter your IMAP server hostname unless you choose TCP or SSL as the connection method.
