Hi Tom,
someone have already mentioned the bitmail project in July. The answer back
then was that none of the Trojita developers have time or motivation for
exploring other ways of messaging besides the traditional e-mail, and I
suspect the answer remains the same today. Of course you're free to reuse
whatever code you want from Trojita as long as you stick to the terms of
the GPLv2 or GPLv3, but I don't see Trojita integrating the bitmail's
libraries for non-standard P2P messaging.
In case I got your mail wrong, I apologize -- I wasn't sure what exactly
you are asking or proposing.
