Hi, mingw website [1] says that "It does depend on a number of DLLs
provided by Microsoft themselves, as components of the operating system;
most notable among these is MSVCRT.DLL, the Microsoft C runtime
library.". I have no knowledge of how that platform works, but perhaps
this is expected? I cannot explain how come that the debug version does
not need it, though.
Ok you are right. Don't know how I missed that. However as stated in [0]
we are allowed to distribute the dlls with the installer.
And so *drum roll* I present you the Trojita 0.4 Windows Installer at
http://corvus.eu.org/trojita-win-builds/Trojita-v0.4.exe
I tested it in a Windows 7 VM. Install/Update runs smoothly and I could
access my INBOX without any problems. If anybody on the ML has a Windows
at hand let me know if there are problems.
with regards
Christian
