That's exactly what I meant. It's a minor annoyance... It's just a bit tiresome to have to create online accounts for every last little thing you want to do. But, that's the world we live in :|

Anyway, it may take some time to reproduce the bug again, since I'm teaching all day and it'll probably be another 24 hours at least before I open trojita (and then it takes more time for the bug to manifest).

But... why doesn't the code to update the message list just send a notification to the folder list, advising it of the new unread count? I really don't see what the IMAP log has to do with it. You have one part of the program that knows the right answer, and another part that doesn't. Wouldn't it be sufficient to get those two parts talking to each other?
