Liebe Freunde der FrOSCon,
Noch ungefähr drei Monate und es ist endlich so weit.
Die FroSCOn fängt an. 2 Tage voller Workshops, Talks und interessanten
Gesprächspartnern.
Wir haben uns inzwischen im Linuxhotel eingeschlossen und arbeiten
unter hochdruck daran euch eine tolle Konferenz bieten zu können.
Aber nicht nur wir Orga Mitarbeiter sorgen für eine tolle Konferenz,
wir brauchen auch euch:
Der CFP in der Endphase [1] und unser Fokus dieses Jahr liegt bei den
folgenden Themen:
- "Koexistenz mit Bots" - Warum können wir nicht einfach Freunde sein?
- "The Rise of Machine Learning" - You Only Learn Once
- "Migrierst Du noch oder nutzt Du schon?" - Tempowandel in der Open
Source-Landschaft
- "Die Fetten Jahre sind vorbei" - Software-Designpatterns in 2017
Wenn ihr Ideen zu diesen Themen oder weiteren Opensource-Bereichen
habt, die Ihr gerne präsentieren möchtet, freuen wir uns über eure
Einreichungen bis zum 23.Mai 2017.
Beeilt euch also besser :)
Für unseren Call for Projects haben wir auch noch einige Plätze frei:
- Projekträume
- Stände
- Sonstige Ausstellungsflächen.

(Erlaubnis natürlich vorrausgesetzt.).
Und auch im Jahr 2017 ist der Teckids e.V. wieder mit bei der FrOSCon,
für die jüngeren Besucher wird also auch gesorgt werden. Ein paar
letzte Plätze könnt Ihr, wenn Ihr schnell genug seid, unter [7]
noch bekommen.

Dear friends of FrOSCon,
it's almost time for the next FrOSCon - three months to be more
specific.
We prepared two days full of workshops, talks and invited all
interesting people we know that you have someone to talk to.
This weekend we traveled to Linuxhotel in Essen to lock ourselves in
and make the conference great once again!
But it's not only the team that is important, we also need you to keep
up with the level from the last years.
The Call for Papers [1] is closing soon and our focus is on the
following topics this year:
- "Coexistence with bots" - Why can't we just be friends?
- "The rise of Machine Learning" - You only learn once
- "Migrating still or are you using already?" - Change of speed
within OpenSource projects
- "Bold years are over" - Software-Design Patterns in 2017
If you are representing an entire project, you are probably better off
joining our Call for Projects:
- Project rooms
- Booths
- Other free space

You are not only a project but represent a company? Hurry up, some last
slots to join as a sponsor are open, too. Just let us know you are
interested and we will send you more detailed information under [3].
If you check here [4] you will find a list of all the great people
already supporting us, for instance there is Reply AG [5] joining on
Platin level.
Can't make it to the conference but help us still?
Send us your address to [6] and we happily ship some posters to you
which you can place any place you like and are allowed to use.
For the smallest ones Teckids e.V. planned interesting things to have
them learn new things and get to know what technologies could make
their lives more easy. A few last spots are free, so RSVP now at [7].
The most eco-friendly and convenient way to reach the conference for a
good price - once again - is Deutsche Bahn with their event ticket
