Hi all While browsing through an old copy of Ivy dated August 1995 I chanced on a report about a just published book titled Psychic First Aid. The author is Muriel Chen who had 35 years as and Auditor and Case Supervisor in the CofS before leaving in 1982. She continued working in the freezone and in November 1994 published this gem of a book.
This is a book of psychic first aid. It allows you to handle a crisis yourself whilst waiting for professional healing or assistance. It is a collection of successful techniques that I have used for myself, and for others who needed immediate help. I have found them useful as first aid outside of formal counseling sessions: in social situations and even over the phone. Muriel Chen from the introduction. I have already found the data useful as I have a toothache and cant get to the dentist till Monday. I used the technique Ms. Chen applies for headaches and moved the pain out of my head. It worked.
