I have just been reading L2 again and thinking more about RIs.

On this level you are not running postulates , you can mentally
create any objects that you like or want and place them in a sphere
around you.

( My last post cog was due to being stuck on L3 and L4, concerning
postulates and was foremost on my mind, so that first post def would
apply to the level where you are doing postulates, ...... that is
the way I see it so far , from my limited experience.)

(No one has a better one so far. )

How big the sphere?

I would guess that a size of whatever you are comfortable with.
Ten or twenty feet.

A sphere is kind of hard to do.

You can probably at least start with doing a six position or six way.

Mock up:

One on the right , one on the left.

One in front, one in back.

One on bottom one on top.

And keep on doing this over and over until your mind, ( maybe it
better to say your brain , because we are trying to get rid of the
mind, ) is freed up.

I would guess that a person can start with mentally creating
( mocking up ) a beach ball just for exercise.

This is called a low gradient. Starting with something simple and
working up to something more difficult.

Then progress up to something you need.

Or something you want to be. A new you.

What ever this consists of is up to you, what ever is important to you.

Look at this also like a brain gym.

There was or is a gadget of sorts by that name. I often wondered what
it was all about.

But I have done different types of similar things in other practices
many years ago, that produced interesting and beneficial results.

In one practice an exercise was done solo with the eyes looking in
all directions. ( Left- right , up down, look in to the corners, and
repeat this over and over for half an hour or so.

In another unrelated experimental exercise doing six way with a beach
ball for a couple hours at a time with a twin ( another person
calling the commands ) over a few days, produced interesting results.

This gets the blood flowing in the brain and opens up stuck areas.

Any way take this for what ever it is worth.

At the least it is a good place to start with in an effort to
understand more what RIs means.

Intelligent people can build on from here and perfect it.

Every new effort to make something or improve some thing has the
advantage of using or having access to all previous discoveries.

That is what is meant by standing on the shoulders of the trail
blazers ( thinkers, inventors, movers and shakers ) of the past to
see further. Therefore we have progress.

Knowledge on this plane is never static.

The biggest room in the world is room for improvement.

In this case of TROM if the actual technique is ideal then there is
certainly room for clarification and ease of understanding.

I think it was L. Ron Hubbard who said, if someone can't explain
something clearly, then he does not really understand it.

He did say that the truth flowed towards simplicity, not complexity.

The case with Dennis may be an exception, it appears that he probably
understood it so clearly that he was able to cleverly make a complex
riddle out of it, laced with a variety of bull shit data , lies,
brain traps and brain jammers and locks.

For what ever reason we can only speculate. To me the author's
embedded energy from the book emits and wreaks with a covert form of
insanity containing an element similar to a cat getting his sadistic
thrills by agonizing the mouse by playing with it, and showing off
his writing style, word use, and mental agility.

Hubbard also said that if a problem contains a lie, then it cannot be
solved until the lie is discovered and replaced with a correct datum.

Hubbard also said that no subject can be understood from within
itself. In order to understand a subject you have to evaluate all
other subjects of comparable magnitude.

I hope this helps those who have less experience than I do, in
helping to understand TROM.

At least you know enough to not think that everything Dennis said is
not gospel.

Hopefully there is a better mind ( a wizard ) out there some where
that can turn this sow's ear into a silk purse. Maybe a better
analogy is turn an awkward, clumsy, ugly, painful, agonizing, hair
pulling, contraption into a Ferrari.

There is also no reason that TROM cannot be made into a "use with a
partner" version and even done over the phone.

This is especially for those who are not born with a 500 hp brain,
but a brain more comparable to some old gutless wonder. What was the
name of that old Russian car? ......

Anyway I hope this is at least some food for thought.

We can work towards more clarity on the subject from here.

David
