Hi Stanley,
to teach RI to new people I use this method :
1) First i suggest to write the command "Create (or write , if you
like) an importance" on a piece of paper, Then I suggest to make a
circle
in the center of the paper and inside write "ME". and then i suggest
the person to write all around the circle with "ME" inside , all the
things that the person consider important .
what is Important for you to have in life, what is important for
you to be in life, important for you to do in life , etc,etc. , all
the habits you surround yourself with.All the things
that are a compulsion, or that stems from a compulsion ,(an urgence
to do something,to say something,to have something etc,etc).
If some somatics shows up during this exercise, keep on doing till it
vanishes or fade away.Don't stop the exercise , even if it takes
hours to make the somatics vanish.
2) Then take another piece of paper and on the top write the
command " Have another create an importance " and in the center make
a circle and inside write the name of the person (john, jennifer
etc,etc),or the name of a character (i.e. a policeman,a doctor,
etc,etc.).
Then go back to point one and do it again,then to point 2 and do it
again.Till you feel better , than when you started.
It is very important doing RI and in Trom in general , to learn how
to go through a somatic or a pain , that suddenly shows up during the
exercise.
You've got to have the consciousnes that if the exercise trigger a
somatic , keep on doing the exercise will make it vanish.
After you feel good doing RI with the command "Create an
importance" , you can exercise the command "create something " and "
have another create something".
And then there is " Bring something into existence" and " have
another bring something into existence".
Create an importance , and create something are another way to
express the meaning of "bring something into existence"
