Hi Colleen Good points. I got VGI's on your statement "I have problems keeping my mind focused" etc. I too quickly loose focus and head off to handle life's events at times. I am having good success with meditating by the directed method that Lester Levenson formulated. I focus on simply Being, raising my tone to a joy filled state, while feeling harmless to everyone. Anything that comes up to interfere with this meditated state I either release on or timebreak as is appropriate. I am finding this meditation technique raised my general tone level quickly and the condition persists between sessions. I also consider that this meditated state is what Dennis means by Nirvana so it is an exercise of the ultimate goal of TROM.
While Dennis did not formulate TROM as a co audit technique I am finding that my understandings of games in life makes it much easier to apply the Dianetics book one two way comm and auditing to help my wife and others who are having upsets. Keep on TROMing. I DO feel that I can do it -- with a little CCH runing, and then with a little coaching from my friend, simply because I have a problem keeping my mind focused and tend to drift off into "To-Do" lists and walk away before I am finished -- so I believe at least. Having an experienced Level 3/4 Trommer as a sort of "training wheels" I am convinced will help me to get the point faster wherein I can turn to him and say, "Thanks, I can do this myself now". It is certainly too literal an understanding of Dennis to say no one can ever be coached or hand-held through the initial grooving in of TROM as a routine. Being interested in one's own "case" AND having an experienced trommer also be interested does not violate the meaning of Dennis' statement. The reason why I selected TROM is for the very fact that I know I CAN do the simple processes, and I am already starting to do them as a morning practice. I equate it to going to the gym as a weightlifter with some intention and goals and thusly having a trainer or a twin. Dennis did not mean that an experienced trommer could not initially one-on-one coach a newbie, if he so wished. I personally would like to leave the compulsive games, and take a few people with me too. Perhaps as I get up to higher and higher levels of TROM that will no longer interest me. Perhaps once I complete the CCHs I will find I no longer need a coach for trom. I am already on the path to realizing myself as a sovereign being. Colleen
